About Us
More than a century of connection, rooted in Catholic faith.

Our mission
We strive to strengthen and celebrate our Catholic faith through education, fellowship, service and charitable outreach; and to build a support community of women committed to faith, friendship and service.
Our story
Founded in 1922 by Miss Anna Dill Gamble, the Catholic Woman’s Club of York began with a call to unite Catholic women in broader fellowship. The club was incorporated in 1924 and is affiliated with the National Council of Catholic Women.
Through education, fellowship, community service and charitable outreach, the club continues to enrich the lives of Catholic women in York. Its history includes a yearly scholarship for young Catholic women in the area.
